Just completed a dutch oven cooking table. Table size is 32" x 16", windsceen is 8" high, total weight is approx. 14 lbs, and the cost of materials was $35.00. I used a 4' x 4' piece of .080" aluminum for the top and the windscreen, 3/4" alum square tube for a supporting frame, and 1 1/4" x 1/8" flat alum for a lip around the table. I had planed to screw 3/4" waste nuts on the corners and use 3/4" black pipe for the legs but I had legs I never use on my Campchef stove so I made use of them here. I also thought about using 1" thick fire bricks to protect the aluminum top but I've cooked on it several times now with nothing and have had no problems.
