I don't know how many of you are interested in Hockey,but I just gotta tell everybody I know. My nephew, Brian Elliott, who was drafted by the Ottawa Senators recently, is playing for the Binghampton Senators. Tonight he was called up by Ottawa to play against Washington in the pre season game. He was the starting Goalie and they won 2-1. He had 35 shots on net and only let one in, as opposed to the washington goalie that only had 15 shots on net and missed 2. Named #1 star player for the game.Not bad EHH????
We went to a local bar with a group of 11 to watch the game. We reserved ahead, and asked if they could get the game on sattelite. They said yes, we asked them to double check, and again they said yes. When we got there, and asked to turn on the game, they told us they didn't have a subscription to the feed. ( this was after we had allready ordered drinks.) My wife...Bless her soul... COMPLETLY BLEW UP!!! and told them how very important this was to us..YADA<YADA<YADA<.... They came back apoligizing proffusely, and told us the meal was on the house, and laid an envelope on the table. Inside were 10 coupons for $10.00 each.We enjoyed a very good meal, and drinks, for nothing. Needless to say, the waitress got a very good tip...after all it wasn't her fault. It turned out to be a nice evening out anyway...
