Antietam - Luminaries - First weekend in Dec

The annual ANTIETAM LUMINARIES is scheduled for the first weekend in December.

If you have never been there it is an experience beyond words. 23,000 Luminaries are placed in the battlefield - and my sons BSA troop is invited back again this year to layout one of the fields.

We go up the night before and camp at the ag center. So hope to see you there.

That depends -

Sharpsburg - or ANTIETAM depends on where your from.

But yes it is in Sharpsburg near Antietam

Basically correct.

North - called it by landmarks
South - by name of town.

I believe that is correct.

One exception that comes to mind is Gettysburg.

Any experts out there?
