Thank you, Peg.

See you at Inks.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Thank you Barb, SamR.

Heikki--it definitely isn't off the shelf. The strips were all cut from mahogany and cypress and glued to ply underlayment.

I would gladly come to Raindeerland to help. Gotta ticket? I'm thinking they won't allow my tablesaw as carry-on baggage, and I refuse to check it. I'll also have to wait until your seasons change--I can't handle that 22 hours of night thing.

Tony such Beautiful Work ...My friends here have seen the counter also and they sure love it...

I suppose I could still incorporate somthing like that on ours since they are fairly close...but using Birch and Mahogany.. since we dont have the cypress here..

Wow, that's a great looking galley. I especially like the sink holder. Very nice!

Kristi, MaryK, Earl--Thanks. I've been up at the shop this weekend and just got back to the computer.

Bruce, thanks. The "unique" sink holder came about to solve a small problem, to give me a quarter of an inch clearance so the sink would clear the ice chest below. Necessity is the mother of invention. Plus, I always wanted to build a ship's wheel, but never had a boat big enough.

Finished putting on the finishing coats on the counter top. Built the garage for the cook stove and storage cabinet above it. Built the extension table. Started on a small storage shelf in the galley. Whew! Am I pooped.

And I only took one picture of the progress, but it sucks, so you'll have to wait until next week. Sorry. (and I'm just a little peeved at myself for getting home without pics cause I know who loves 'em :x )

This was a busy weekend, but finished what I started last week, and the galley is complete.

This is a full-on galley shot showing the additions of the gas stove garage and cabinet, top storage shelf, and paper towel holder.
Image

This picture shows the finished cooler cover/side table. The panel removes and mounts on the side of the trailer. The angled aluminum piece in the handle is for the support rod. The aluminum support rod stores in a dovetail slot and doubles as the drawer slide lock (slides into recess on side of tear).
Image

This is an upper view of the galley to show the shelf detail and wind-proof paper towel holder.

This shows the table installed.

A close up of the table mount bracket.

A view of the top drawer showing sponge tray.

The top cabinet slider opened. The table bracket (in the upper shelf) now mounts and stores above the shelf.

The full Monty:
