Woohoo! Congratulations, Darla!  :applause: :applause:
The teardrop looks great and the "man who didn't think you had it in you" to build one of these things sure looks comfortable in there 8)
You're going to love it each time someone asks your husband if he built it himself, and he responds proudly, "My wife built it!"

Great job! And fast, too!

WOW Darla, that tear looks fantastic!! :applause:   I am completely impressed with how fast you built it, and it looks so professional!!

I feel like a total slow-poke now. I have been working on mine, on and off, for about three years now (ugh!).

Whew...I don't feel so bad now.

In my defense  I did take classes in welding for a while before tackling the welding of my chassis, so that did take about 1 1/2 years of that three years. Now I am plagued by bad, wet, weather, and I need a dry weekend to pull the trailer outside so I can get to my table saw. The weather is totally uncooperative out here in winter (soggy, drizzly NW). Add on the home remodeling projects, etc... etc... I would have to say that I am building my tear on serious teardrop time. It has been a bit of a bummer for me to see everyone that can build theirs tears so much faster than me (and all incredibly beautiful tears no less), but I just remind myself that mine will get done, and when it does, I'll be very very happy indeed! :)

A majority of my problem dealt with either lack of funds and/or depending on others. Its ok though...I think I'll make my new deadline of next season. :)
