Is that Diet Coke?

BTW, here is CD's tip for travelers #323. If you are a generous tipper in Las Vegas, you can own this town. This town must be full of stingy tippers, because a 20-percent tip to any waiter, bartender or taxi driver will earn you a friend for life here.

Oooops, back to the topic.

I'm not overweight... Just undertall by everyone else's standards.
Big boned and big upper body on a 5'-6" frame and yes...
Joanie has made me very aware of the importance to keep the extra weight away from the mid section where all the vital organs are...
Two weeks into my new job and I dropped 10 lbs. in the first week, but have put back 3 lbs. this week. I'm thinking that the three pounds are added muscle, not fat becuase all I do for 8 hrs. each day now is work the upper body.
Around my mid section, I can pinch 1/2" in front, 1" on the sides, but can't reach my backside to check my lard levels there....
I have no idea what my cholesterol levels are and quite frankly, I really don't care to know... I'm sure they're off the charts.
I'll have health insurance in 5 1/2 months... Maybe I'll find out then.
I like meat... barbequed meat. Gave up alcohol and drugs almost 18 years ago, but have no plans whatsover to opt for tofu over beef.

Dean,

Just remember the 3 food groups, " steak, roast or brisket and hamburgers."  If we were meant to eat tofu, we could hunt it with a gun.

Man did not claw his way to the top of the food chain to eat salad.

When I stopped growing at 21, I was 6'6" and weighed 165. Two years ago (age 60) I was up to 258, adjusted my intake and got down to my current weight of 205, by cutting out only the "Sodas" (lost about 2.5# per month). So, I guess I'm about as L&M as I can get (at my age) - although I do fill up ALL the "Sleeping Space" in my Tear Drop......

I finally figured out what caused me to loose 7 pounds over a week in VA last year. Good Southern cooking and NO SOY milk. Go figure! I've lost 6 since I guit soy again...

Besides Mike read a valid study that says donuts are good for you! 8)

At 17 I was 230 lbs and 5'11"

At 22 (now) I vary between 190-195 depending on workload/eating habits. I'm slowly cutting down my intake of soda and hopefully that'll be a few more pounds lost once I quit drinking them.

Wife passed away in February and my new girl described my 30lb loss as part of the widows diet. I check every day and its the same.

Its a well known fact that if you break those donuts in half before you eat them all the calories will leak out.
The impossable just takes longer & cost more.

A few years back, there was a popular bumper sticker amoung vegitarians that pictured a lean, muscular, fully antlered buck leaping over a fence with the caption: "Deer eat grass!"

A little later I noticed a similar bumper sticker, featuring the same deer and fence. This time it pictured a large, lean, muscular tiger lurking in the weeds with the caption: "Tigers eat deer!"

:Flippin Burger: Venison burgers, yum!

Just remember, sea critters need eatin too!
