Mac users... what html editor do you use?

I was using NVu, but it was messing up my html code. It would subsitute %7C for the | symbol, which would render my counters garbage.

Any suggestions? I prefer one that switches from WYSIWYG to source and back again...

Thanks,

Mike...

I've used Dreamweaver for years but I haven't tried it since Adobe took over. Works great and you can actually look at code and WYSIWYG at the same time, which is helpful in finding bugs or working through complicated tables.

Hope this helps.

Hi Mike,

I use Web Weaver Lite it's an older program but does all that I'm needing to do at the moment.

Have you ever been to tucows.com? They have a great search tool and I tend to find a good evaluation of various programs. I typed in WYSIWYG and it came up with several possible software programs. Here's the link http://www.tucows.com/search.html?search_scope=mac&search_adv=0&search_size=&search_size_multi=b&search_terms=WYSIWYG+&x=0&y=0

Hope that helps.

Mike,

I'm currently using Kompozer and like it. You'll likely find it much like NVu, only without the bugs.

Mike,

Great news.

I very much like the way Kompozer handles previewing the pages you're working on in your default browser while the pages are still on your computer.

More good news, Kompozer is still being developed, whereas NVu is not.
