So off we went to the paint department much to Mikes horror!!
After 4 hours of painting and painting and painting ( and another trip to the Lowes to get a DIFFERENT COLOR of base coat after the "less than helpful" guy in the paint department mixed the wrong color and convienced me that it would be much darker after it dried....
was I an idiot or what....... 
Anyway, this is what it looked like when we woke up the next morning

BUT dont worry....
It is suppose to have all those cracks.... we decided to crackle the cabinets to give them that Aged look......lol....

of course when I was painting the base coat on for the second time I dont think I was quite that positive about the process.....
NO NO NO>>>>>not the beer.... the fridge isway to close to the TD in the garage.....
