Fighting between members is grounds to pull a thread. Bashing a public figure may cause fighting but giving one's opinion should not cause fighting.

Gee, let's see? Who do I trust with actually having a BRAIN!?
It's obvious who is the more articulate. Hitler was very articulate. Would you trust him?
Gore is articulate with INTELLIGENCE, and the guy actual CARES. Bush has neither quality. Comparing Gore to Hitler? Come on, Joseph--you can do better than THAT!It simply KILLS Republicans that by all measures, Clinton was the most succesful president in history.
Successful? What exactly did he DO?
Bad memory, Joseph. The most dynamic, growing economy in ages, people feeling GOOD about the future and their wallets, and no stupid wars. Remember any of this? Or are you still hung up on that blowjob?Bush the worst. And Clinton's VP may have lost his bid for the head job, but is still briilliant.
Brilliant enough to recognize that each subsequent Florida recount was resulting in more and more votes for Bush. (I watched all night and Gore never had the lead ONCE and yet MSNBC continued to paint Florida blue. No media bias here.) But it simply KILLS Democrats that Bush beat Gore fair & square (See Laredo's post above). And that was without counting the absentee ballots of the military. So much for how Democrats support the troops. And he beat Kerry by a landslide, so as you said, Ira, GET OVER IT! (And this from a guy who is no longer a Republican.)
A couple of a hundred votes is a landslide? In a state where his BROTHER is Governor? And we're not supposed to "question" this narrow margin? When there's a county where a large percentage of Jews voted for BUCHANAN!? Give me a break. The whole election stank on all levels. The majority of this country isn't falling for these BS Limbaugh-type attacks anymore.
Speaking of Rush, did you see how he's auctioning off the smear letter "Dingy Harry" Reid and forty other Democrats signed trying to get him fired? Up to over $46,000 now, proceeds to go to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. Now THAT's what I call supporting the troops!
Did someone mention Limbaugh? HAH!!!
BTW, back in January you wrote this about WalMart:Ira wrote:Prices will not go down one penny because of this, you will NOT be better served as a customer, and as I've said a million times before about this company, it is another example of illegal employment practices that the f*cking state and federal regulatory agencies simply decide to ignore.
Thank GOD the Democrats are in power now--because this sh** IS going to stop.
So how's that workin' out for ya?![]()

Also this Gore bashing seems to violate Mike's rules:

Here's the rules of the forum... pretty simple actually...
Rule Number 1: No fighting...
That's it. You fight, we pull the thread, you keep fighting we pull you.
Very important... discussions about sex, politics and religion, and certain bad jokes can lead to fighting. We would suggest that you refrain from the afforementioned... as they will be carefully monitored, and pulled as they turn into fighting.
These rules are not restrictive... this forum is meant to be fun. With your help, it can be!
Thanks for helping.
Mike...
I am always bothered when free speech is hampered by someone being offended by a differing opinion or set of "facts".
Fighting between members is grounds to pull a thread. Bashing a public figure may cause fighting but giving one's opinion should not cause fighting.
My opinion about Gore's inconvenient truth is that like many other times he failed to take personal control over the content. He did not personally check the "facts", or the sources.
Funny how a British Judge can be called obscure if he doesn't agree with someone famous/infamous. Somehow what he says has no value even if it is true.
If you read the "real" scientific documents you will find that Gore and his cronies expect you to pay a tax on every animal that may or may not "fart."
An Inconvenient Truth. Gore is being used and either hasn't a clue or is part of it. He set himself up to be criticized by being a public figure and spokesman for a group. It isn't Gore bashing to disagree with him.
Sonetpro wrote:Gore is just trying to find a public cause or agenda that he can attach himself to.
Long ago he was trying to be the figure in the community that was touting global cooling as the doom of the world. He failed at that and was ridiculed.
He then said that he invented the Internet. He failed at that and was ridiculed.
He now is the figure against global warming the doom of the world. After time passes and it is shown that this is a natural part of the evolution of the world, He will again be ridiculed.
