I was born in Fairbanks, and I used to live in a yellow house.

I decided to build what Andrew drew for a drip rail.
Image
See no clamps on the doorway.
The clamps came back to the hatch.
Image
There are clamps on both sides now. Started to add braces for the counter top.

It rained again :( :( , but thankfully quit as the day drug on. Strapped the battery box down, and it still moves a lot while tied down, suggestions?
File photo.
Image
Next I worked on getting the inside floor ready for its top skin.
Image
The 1 x 2s need to be level on top, so a few needed ground down a little.
This evening no rain so I worked more on the hatch seal.
Image
It is hard to make out but the left side has only a couple of gaps in the clamps. Texas tags are too reflective for my flash.

It is one of the themes on the tread killer thread. Just a bit of fun, I am still in the same place.

I started work on the counter, got the piece the farthest towards the front.
Image
Image
A removable piece goes over the battery, and the other side is where the ice chest sits.

now off to a birthday party (not mine, thank goodness)

Dell... not too sure how long your arms are, but it almost looks like you need a door in the side to reach your cooler comfortably. Depends on what you have on the front counter... don't want to be reaching over the stove to grab a "cold one" eh?????

The four pieces of ply (two on each side) that looks like ribs, are part of the hatch. Once the hatch is skinned the ribs (spars) will be cut free of the body.

For the battery box moving around I added two blocks. After the resin dries, we will see how it works.

Added more fiberglass around bulkhead.

I put it off long enough, started a scary step this evening, the Hatch. I Installed the latch, and started the lower frame work.
Image
Yes there will be frame work on the other side of the spars. For now it is imaginary.

Here is pic #301 in my album from earlier today.
Image
Worked on my taillights, fit the second blue dot, and after all the fiberglass work refitted the lights.
Image
Nebraska tag.
Clamped on the last of the hatch seal reenforcement.
Image
Taking the wheel off made it possible to reach the top, while standing on a step stool (it sucks being vertically challenged).
