oh yeah, :) :P :cigar:
guess its our turn now to go shop and flash our dollar, like its a monopoly game,

not our style anyhow...

well what can we thank, maybe ben laden..., maybe the great northern fields tarsands, wich supply most of your oil now, maybe the fallout of the sub prime loans. maybe the highly subsidized farmers, our the fact that the big three can not produce a reliable vehicle...other than a s.u.v. or a pick-up of course.

anyhow, unleash the hounds.....wondering how high :clapping hands: it will go

have a great weekend, explore the next valley and dont take money talk too seriously.

I'm retired and after working for the same employer for some 30 years. Money is something I no longer worry about. And I have no plans on going to Canada to buy my Viagra.

Well.. It's about Bloody Time!!!!! Still, It makes me wonder, why a Honda, built in Canada costs 43.000$, and you can buy that same Canadian built Honda in the States for around 33.000$
Right now, Our retail stores are lowering their prices to reflect the increased value of the Canadian dollar.... But we're still going to the States for our shopping, bcause the prices are still a heck of a lot cheaper than up here... Example.. 4 tires for the car - Canada=$500.00, Same tires in U.S.= $200.00... Does that make any sense???

Does this mean you Canadians are gonna tip better now when you come to South Florida?

The general rule is 10% to 15% of the bill, depending on service.

It's not 25 cents per diner.

Try getting that exchange rate at ANY bank. I just paid for my new tow vehicle (it's in Medina NY) and only saved a little over $200 on the purchase price of $23 915 (US) even when I checked XE.com I should have saved at least $500.......

I'm heading down Wed night to Niagara Falls and will cross on Thurs. morning to pick it up and (hopefully) export it from the US then import it into Canada........

It's a 2004 F350 4x4 Lariat with plow and cap. Pics will be up soon.....

This exchange rate is killing us Alaskans. Use to be that when you wanted a south-of-the-border brew, you could buy a Labatts Blue, stick a piece of lime in it and there you have it. Now I can only afford Corona!!!

At least I know you will have some good beer when I come visit!
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.
