Mike Thank You... I guess I can rest a little more peacefully now.
But I cant go back in time and get them days back.. but anyways..

It happened ... what I always dreamed of.. meeting my real mom and sister.. and what meant a lot to me also that my son met his real grandma before it was too late..

And we have photos to remember it all by even though it was in the Hospital..

Before we left mom stated: Ok Kids I dont want to play anymore today Im tired and she smiled and said I love you all. And this with a Finnish Australian accent..

Im glad I shared it with you.. with no regrets. And yes it was a happy outcome..

truly remarkable..for us.

What Ive learned from this is that if anyone has lost or missing loved ones.. look them up or try finding them if at all possible , dont give up.. wether its positive or negative at least youve done it and you definitely will have some sort of peace within..

I know I do ..The saddest thing is still that mom wont be returning home.
She will need someone to care for her and feed her and... as long as she lives.. most likely will be in a nursing home when she gets more strength back. ;)

Good Morning .. from Finland.. Thank You also for the kind words..Id say yes were all smiling to some extent.. dont know what it will be like next week when my sister travels back to Australia...

Will we see each other ever again..Will our mother say farewell to her for the last time.. Hard to say..

Will the day come when we meet again.. unanswered questions remain but so it is in life..

but for now we,ll smile together..

Best wishes to you

Heikki, I am so happy for you and so glad you went to see your "mum". You never know the truth about things until you delve into it and in this case it was a good thing. You were hurting and perhaps your mother was also, not knowing what was actually going on. The pain in your heart has to be at ease now, and knowing that your mother wanted to see you just brings tears to my eyes. Those "relatives" have really hurt a lot of people for their own pleasure. You and your sister are now in the pilots seat. Good luck! We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers still.

A friend, Grani Betty

Heikki, I am so pleased this worked out as it has. I'm sure you are ready for the emotional roller coaster to stop, and these developments are wonderful. It is wonderful that you will have a chance to get to know your sister and spend time with your mother.

As always, you continue to be in our prayers. I am very happy for you.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

just found and read the whole thing, :o

trully you are a blessed with great loving people around , no need to consell you as you are being surronded by great souls.

your story can related to our life a lot, but my tears are on holds since we probably hold the role your mother has, weirdly we contacted our auntie this morning in regards to try to respect our past, this is what happen when you go away from home to start a new life in a faraway land.

listen to john lennon song, Imagine, he would be proud up there, to see you all together on this thread.

those tear of joy are for all of us to collect and cherish, let the tear of sadness accumulate as they can only drown the memory's.

love you bro.
