Fire season hits again.

glad you guy magic fire over, glad you can rebuitd too, us here are still waiting, pray for us too, as we pray in our makeshift church evdy for you.

Boy, I must be looking the wrong way. The last time I checked, the Magic fire was still going. Although all the fires around the Santa Clarita area are setting down, they are still going and if the winds stay down they should be out in the next day or so. I guess I need to go to New Orleans and watch the news to find out what is happening with the fires here in my back yard.

Here's a couple of Google maps of the fire areas.

The first one shows generally in Southern California where the fires are.

This second shows more detail of the San Diego area, where the fires have actually burned & areas that are evacuated. Also how close the fire has come to some different cities in the area. Fortunately in some areas people are getting to return home. The danger is far from over, if the winds were to suddenly really kick up, any of the fires could go totally out of control.

I keep wondering how steve aka sdtripper2 is doing as he is from the San Diego area. I'm sure there are lots of others on our forum too.

So how's everyone doing? Even if one's not in the fire area, there's a lot of smoke out there that could case breathing problems.

Steve is on his way to the LCG, I think he was in Texas yesterday.

Hope he doesn't have a problem on the home front that he is not aware of.
