My teardrop is done (more or less) and everything works great. Got back yesterday from a 2500 mile trip to the Black Hills and back. It turned out a bit heavier than I had wanted at 1440# wet, but it was not a problem pulling with my Chevy Venture van. The only thing put in after weighing it was a little food, bread, crackers etc. Gas milage was about what I had expected at an average of 15.5 for the whole trip. Total cost for gas was about $475, lowest paid was $2.65 and the highest about $3.15. Worst part of the trip was the first day from Wisconsin to Iowa, into the wind. Most of the time I would almost forget it was there. Except for long winding hills like from Keystone up to Custer state park. I NEVER thought it would be hard to get a site in the middle of last week in a state park, but it was full, at least all the electric sites, so back down to the KOA. Not exactly what we call camping in Wisconsin, more of just a parking lot with posts. Here are some pictures from the trip.
