So thats why you asked as to what time it was here...thought you might be coming over for coffee..

We are at Time zone offset: UTC + 2 hours
EET is 2 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) or simply
UTC/GMT +2 hours. 8) 8)

We noticed a similar phone system problem yesterday at the office. An hour off.

It seems that some "automatic systems" are actually making the daylight savings time switch a week EARLIER than they're supposed to.

I guess it's a Y2K problem, but 7 years later.

Seems our government postponed the "fall back" causing the issue and before you say it---I completely agreeeeeeeeee.

 The easy answer, Mike lives in the central time zone in the US. Our government decided to extend daylight savings time (for energy savings  ) On the 4th of November we will go back to standard time and your clock will again match.

I have similar problems here. The clock on my computer sets itself an hour behind whenever it feels like it. I keep telling it to knock it off, but its stubborn.

Heikki, that's basically correct. I'm actually -6 now and will be -5, I live in the eastern time zone.
