Attention Kansas and Missouri Teardroppers

Postby s4son » Wed Oct 24, 2007 4:03 pm

Since so many of us from the North Central group have been adopted here I thought I would announce this here as well. Kansas and Missouri teardroppers now have a place on the web to call their own. Introducing the Tear Jerkers, Heart of America Chapter. We will have at least two regional campouts in 2008 and we'll want everyones input. We want this to be a fun and active part of the teardrop community where we can share ideas, campfire stories and laughs. So sign up now at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Tearjerkers_Heart_Of_America/, you don't have to be from Kansas or Missouri to join.

Great news, Scott. Question: Do you have to be a teardrop owner to join, or are we dreamers accepted?

Best,
Tom

Terrific!!

I am new to this forum, and teardrop trailering(?), so everything is new to me, however, I was amazed at how many folks are from the Kansas-Missouri area. It'll be great to meet the "real" people behind the avatars.

I've filled out the Heart of America Tearjerker forum request so count me in.

Thanks for taking the initiative on this.

 :applause:

Best,

Tom,
Everyone is welcome. A lot of folks like to come to teardrop gatherings before buying/building to get ideas and see if a teardrop is really for them. The more the merrier.

Thanks everyone, we are getting a good response.

I'm an Okie but I guess I'm welcome to sign up too? Since I love camping with Scott & Sylvia, and Jeff & Anna , and Gary & Trudy , and Lynn & Paul, and Darren and a new tder Bill, and Waliczek and need to see Neal B again camping ....

I thought about a South Central TJ group but I'm more of an follower than a leader.

Thanks Scott.

Now I need to round the front of my Mini trailer ( angled front Bobtail tear "Boxter" ). It can be done later to look more like a tear with cosmetics. It only a 4 footer( it was easier to mount on the HF trailer frame for now and very very light weight ).
It could become a 5 footer.
