Tear Jerkers?

Postby vipercairo » Thu Nov 01, 2007 12:30 pm

First; let me apologize up front... but I would like to tread into unfamiliar territory. I see that Missouri & Kansas has just become a chapter in the Tear Jerkers "Club". Has there been any previous activity to look into a South Central (or Texas and Oklahoma [for example]) chapter?

Just wondering... are there any thoughts out there among South Central folks?

Carl-

Be careful what you wish for

Do you have any suggestions for a ENERGETIC director to lead such a group

I thought about getting a South Central Tearjerker group started, but I'm a better indian than a chief. There are a few of us in Oklahoma between the sw and the ne corners and in the center, but so many in Texas....
I did join the KS MO group, and would love to see something start for our whole South Central group since we all camp together so much.

Sorry you didn't make it to LCG Viper .... would've liked to meet ya !

Hmmmmm,

Hey Guys,
I've been noticing more and more Tear Jerkers chapters going up, all around us it seems. Maybe someone here (with leadership skills?) should look into this for us. Then we could put the cool little picture on our post as well. Just a thought.

Absolutely!!

All those things really make it all worth wild. 8)

Seriously, go to TearJerkers.net Look at the gathering photos over the years.

We really have a ball! :P

Nice little 10-20 trailer gatherings, some smaller...and BIG ONES too. But enough to pick & choose from.

If you wish to be a director, theres a lot of us, lots of support and ideas passed around on our Directors board.

Happy trails

Not a Tear Jerker group, but if your feeling lonely and left out you might check with the 'South Central Tears'. I notice they include Texas & Oklahoma (for example). But who knows, maybe your from a part of Texas that they don't know about.

P.S. How does one only have 10 to 20 teardrops at a gathering? That would be a good number.

Pardon me, but I'm confused. Why would we start a group w/in the South Central Group...wouldn't that cause splintering.

Is there something about what we have doing (gathering-wise) that is NOT working? ?

 That's what I was hinting at and I live in California. Maybe Texas is to big for just one group. They sure don't have to many teardrops.

I have to ask the same thing as Todah, why do we need more organization than we already have. We seem to growing quite well like we are. What would be the benefit of this?
