I wish I could have been there to say GOODBYE but I had a schedule to keep and I kept to it. I am glad that all of you made it home alive and semi-well.
:o As for our end the Park Staff had a great time and the Saturday night feed was well indescribable! I ate too much and hurt myself!
I hope that the Halloween decoration winners were happy with the trophies and the hats. Maybe next year we'll have better prizes!
REMEMBER!!! 11 months from the day you all are gonna be here book your reservations!!! NOVEMBER 25th-26th are the Friday/ Saturday dates for October 25-26th. OKAY!!! I will leave you with this I may not be around the next time you all come but keep the spirit going! We may be leaving Louisiana and go to colder pastures Colorado for instance, we're looking anyway! God Bless you all! :applause:

Becky
Enjoyed meeting you at the park office. Thanks for helping me get the ice in the car. You and the rest of the park staff are the greatest.

finally home!

Postby starleen2 » Wed Oct 31, 2007 9:04 pm

Just a post to say thank you all. We were one the newbies and you guys made us feel welcome and right at home. Got plenty of ideas for the new trailer. After leaving the Park, we journeyed down to Sabine Pass – on the Sabine River where it meets the gulf coast - to do some mission work. :hammer: Well, we got there only to find that the trailer had a crack in the frame (which was later repaired) and Georgia fell and broker her arm on the third day :crying1: – bummer – which meant a speedy return home. Special thanks to CPASPARKS, TONYJ, and BILL P for getting us settled in. Too many to thank (I would just be repeating what others have said), but thanks to all – learned a lot bout cast iron cooking, putting faces on screen names, and ideas galore. Many Blessing to you all!

Sorry I didn't Dance for you folks...but Y'all didn't play any music for me.... :( ;)

I had a blast!! Who wants to do it again next month???

We were so tired we got on the wrong road outside of Hattiesburg and almost ended up back in LA.

To the folks that I didn't get to talk too, my apologies. I will try harder next year to make the loop.

Thanks to everyone, who participated. I have NEVER met A finer group of folks in my life, Thank you all. MadJack, You Da Man, tell your Crew I said they are craziest bunch of Rednecks I ever met.

Poor Girl, Sorry I missed you when y'all left, So Gbye...lolol

Tony, I was a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm bringing my Kayak next year and we can go get lost in the Cypress trees.

Steve T, Out of all the folks I meet for the first time, you were the most unexpected from what I had envisioned. You are gifted with a tongue of a poet, and you have a heart of a giant.

Se all Y'all next year.... Oh and take more time off and stay a few more days so we can party longer.

Well it looks like I missed out on another great gathering. Would have loved to meet all the newbies and check out the teardrop I haven't seen before.
I was hating to miss MaryK's teardrop dance but it looks as if she didn't give everyone a performance. HUM.....Maybe she didn't do the teardrop dance cause I was not there
Pics all look great.
I'm glad everyone had a great time. I just wish Madjack's birthday was not in the fall cause I would definately be there.
Thanks for pics everyone.
BTW..... Eddie, Linda, James and Joycalyn were supposed to drink a big stout margarita for me. Did anyone notice if they did? I thought I'd feel a bit tipsy in OKC but that didn't happen. HUM.....wonder if they forgot.

I may have to get me one of those squeezeboxes, didn't seem too hard to play. It's just too bad that we couldn't get the monkey and squeezebox together.

Yes folks, there was a monkey at LCG.

You better not be talking about me!

Wait . . . you weren't there for that conversation. Never mind.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
