I could bring it with me if someone else will bring wood.

I talked to the owner a few minutes ago and a portable fire place is fine. Being in town you might bring the top in case it gets windy. We will definitely bring some fire wood. :twisted: so who has the marshmallows. :twisted:

You'all get your dancing shoes on so you can keep warm. I am thinking a bunch of easy ups and tarp sides around Julie's fire. :twisted: :thumbsup: ;)

And anyone who wants to tent---yes you can set up with us this time of year. :thumbsup: You will need to talk to them about cost or cost sharing. ;)

Should we make reservations or just show up? I've submitted a trade with a co-worker to swap Saturdays so I should be there. :thumbsup: I think I'll bring some ham and beans. :lol:

You can make reservation and the camp host will probably appreciate it. :thumbsup: For those who want just show up. The camp place should not be full this time of year. Well, unless we fill it.

Ham and beans----------yummmmy too. Winter fair seems to be the call. Anyone know how to make cornbread without eggs or milk? Wish I had a waffle iron.

I would think reservations would be good idea just to make sure we're all close together without big rigs between us. Or could you just let the camp host know that , and have her hold certain spots for us?
Wait== I just described reservations.

Hello South Central. I just joined yesterday and was told about this gathering.

I plan on being there with my son. Don't worry, he is a well seasoned winter camper. We are just now starting to construct our teardrop so we will be truck camping this time.

We will be there later on Friday evening, I have to work that day. I will be glad to cook a pot of chili on Saturday night. I really look forward to meeting all of you and seeing your campers.

I actually pulled some strings and have Friday off ... so Gary and I should be down around noon on Friday. If anyone has made reservations, let me know ... so we can get close to each other!

:applause: We will probably get there around 1pm or sooner if Mike can get off earlier. Do we need a list of who is coming and what everyone is bringing? 8)

Hey Cfiles, how old is your son?

He is 3 1/2. He loves to camp and plans on helping me build our teardrop. He is also excited that we get to cross Route 66 on the way (he is a big Cars fan).

Reservations

Postby RAYVILLIAN » Fri Nov 09, 2007 8:12 am

Gary and I made our reservations last night ... you dont get a site confirmation so glad that we will get there early. I am going to try to compile a list of everyone that is a positive reservations / probably but no reservations at this time / will decide at the last minute. Sounds like we are going to have a decent size group for a late gathering. :applause:
