So what's it look like or are you keeping it a secret. I've heard of a Road Toad which is a non-traditional teardrop. But a 'Road'? Nope, can't say as I've heard of that one.
Remember 'Teardrop Time'.......Take your time, you don't have to have it finished NOW.
It's a canned ham with slightly corrugated sides and if I am lucky i am going to make a trade for it tomorrow. It's been parked in an Avocado grove for the last 20 years and completely unused. pics as soon as I see it...
Escondido actually. Are you in Sd county? I was looking at that scotty you cut apart and was just a little sad for it. Of course, I didn't see how much rot there was...
Well, for one, it wasn't a Scotty. It was a Scotsman and it was 75% rotten. When I would pull off an aluminum piece, the side would fall on the floor. I had a hard time believing I towed it 20 miles and didn't loose anything. The alum siding was holding it together. I got some flack from a few so called vintage trailer buffs that only saw the pictures and didn't see the trailer it self. I'll restore if it's worth restoring or one of a kind or very rare. But if it's not, I'll try and save all the parts I can. Good luck on your find.

That's what I figured. I have seen many that were only held together by gravity alone... You can save a lot of the parts though and I am finding this board to be a treasure trove of great ideas. I will post pics tomorrow when I go up there with my ice pick.
