Heads up on Gasoline prices for Thanksgiving travel...

Working for a car magazine, I read a lot of stuff.

You may want to fill up early if you plan to travel at Thanksgiving, because there is talk of a 20-cent per gallon increase coming in the next week or two -- just in time for Thanksgiving travel.

But, the good news is that Rex W. Tillerson, EO of ExxonMobil might take home more this year than the $22,440,807 in total compensation he "earned" last year. So, once again, he should beat David J. O'Reilly, CEO of ChevronTexaco, who only "earned" $19,802,908 in total 2006 compensation.

It's so nice to know that my pain is someone else's gain.

Gas is Up here to 315 a gal. for reg. I'm sure it will go up again before Thanksgivings!

Good thing our campsite for the weekend is only 50 miles from home and we get about 18 mpg towing there.

OTOH I spent over $300 for gas on our three week trip last summer and never left the state.

CD, I'm planning to take a few more vacation days as the holidays approach. The $17/day is really eating in to the fun money.

If I could only talk them in to letting me work from home, I'd get an instant $4335 raise. (thad be nice!)
