Just in time for a scout camping trip this weekend.

It's very clean inside and out, but is a bit sticky, so I guess I'll need to wash it. I think I may need to season it as well, I'm new to the cast iron family. Is there a quick way to season it at home tonight? Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, what about waffle mix? I've never made 'em before. I'm thinking I may burn a few before I get it right.
