The name changes to Sprint Cup in '08 but...
This year's season isn't even over and now there's talk about Sprint being bought out by Google... Google Cup???

The shoulder is... Well, I'm working through that and trying not to get pissed off.
I've got a year to deal with this from the day I got knocked off the road...
Just don't like the way the doctors are milking it to put more of the insurrance money in their pockets...

I've become convinced that a number of things could be cured (like diabetes) but there is so much more money in treatment that they may never actually use cures for some things.

48 to 24.....it was a good race to the cup I thought...I personally would have liked to see Jeffie win, but hey...it's just a car race! Just like in any sports...pick your team/player root for them, if they don't win, take the heat...there's always next year. Now comes the hard part...way too long till Daytona. Doug

Hey Boodro....ignorance is bliss! Everyone has their idea of a what is a fun sport to follow, whether it's juiced up NFL illiterate flunkies fighting over an oblate spheroid with a physical education degree...ha ha...or "big headed" baseball players that get indicted or NBA players that beat their wives....In this sport, come back in 10 minutes...someone may not be around for the next race, permanantly, and it all happens at 190+ MPH, not in a locker room. NASCAR will be bigger than other sports in the future...Doug

Just kiddin' fellas, I've actually been to several NASCAR events. I'm more into Drag Racing where I drive straight to the finish line instead of driving around in circles looking for it AND, I've been lucky enough to win a few points championships to boot. Although I must say that the sights are much better in the infield of a NASCAR race compared to a ball game

Hey Doug , ya nailed it man , about all the junk sports HERO'S out there. Highly over paid & over rated!
Just boggles the mind when ya look at all the cash that big sports make.
And yea I'm in BLISS!!
I don't mind watching Nascar , I just don't get it when fans go way overboard about it. I've seen some that HATE a driver even when they don't know the person other than tv ya know? They say they literaly HATE a driver ????
Makes no sense to me to be that bitter against a person or a team... I guess I missed the boat. Oh well ... to each his own huh?! Just enjoy life.
