… You might be building a Teardrop.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

You might be building a Teardro if?

You call in sick to work to buy more screws and trim.(then run into your production supervisor at Menards, true story, never have asked what he was doing there).

You buy parts for "the next one" before the first one is done.

Your decision on taking a new job hinges on how long it will delay the start of "the next one".

While driving on a rural gravel road you drive around the section because you thought you saw something teardrop shaped in a grove

You spend half an hour walking thru a grove because someone said there was a TD in there only to find an old rusty frame and a pile of what used to be plywood.

When people ask you "Your'e building WHAT?"

You look at a box of old exhaust valves and think "Those would make neat cabinet handles for THE NEXT ONE"
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

You must be a teardrop builder IF:

you go to HD to get a board and the parking lot is empty, the lights are off, the doors are locked.......... SO you drive over to Lowes, wondering on your way other there why HD was closed....... you arrive at Lowes, the parking lot is empty, the doors are locked and the lights are off. CLOSED!
You call your wife with the astounding information that the lumber yards are closed...... she reminds you that it is THANKSGIVING DAY!

You fret all day long because you know you can't go work on your teardrop because you let all the other projects build up so much and you don't have a choice but to get some of them done.
Innovation is essential
The world can be better
