Howdy from Texas

Postby Randy77301 » Tue Nov 27, 2007 5:59 am

Hi, yall,,,,, well to start, my name is Randy, I live in south east Texas, (Houston area)

Don't ask me why, but I had been saving up my money for an enclosed cargo trailer to haul my camping and kayak gear.

After looking at this site, agazillion pictures and links,,,,,

I went off and picked up a Harbor freight 4 x 8 trailer yesterday...$249.99.

Yep, I guess it's a guy thing,,,,, instead of buying a cargo tralier already made, I am gonna try my hand at making a tiny trailer....

I'll keep ya posted.

To the playground Randy. Not really a guy thing. I was saving for a canoe. We are a helpful bunch and most can relate to the "addiction". There is no cure and the only treatment is to take lots of :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:

Keep the bubble oil level. ;)

Hey Randy, Welcome to the forum. You will find the tear much more comfortable than a cargo trailer. Glad to see you join in the fun.
So you might as well let everyone know that you are one of the guys that are freaking nuts, meaning you also fish for bullreds and sharks offshore in a yak. These guys think I'm nuts.
Have fun and I know pic's won't be a problem.

Hi diddly hi Randy. Is that by name or by nature?

Oh, and will you convert your prices into pounds, shillings and pennies please, we'll have none of your fancy johnny-come-lately metric nonsense on here, thank you

Remember this is Yorkshire, where men are men, so are women and the sheep are nervous

Well, not much to report yet,
I still have to put together the trailer,,,,, I should have got it over Thanksgiving, it would have given me something to do over 4 days of rain.

I have started my material list, and picked up a roof vent and an interior light so far.

Once I get this going, I can give better updates and post some pics.
