WOW, Thanks Tim.
I think this is the first contest I ever won. You do outstanding work and I'm looking forward to my ornament and sign. I will hang them both proudly.
Thank you again

No, thank you, your entry was excellent!
Start thinking about what you want your sign to look like. I can do most anything, but its easier if you have some idea what you want.

I'll be contacting you soon.

Postby Alfred » Mon Nov 26, 2007 7:49 pm

Hey Tim,

That's great news! Can't hardly wait to get the ornament. It will go on the tree with pride!

Thanks, Al in Asheville

I really liked " Santa makes his own toys too " !

That was close to home for all us builders. I thought it deserved an honorable mention too.

Sorry I haven't got back to this sooner...

I've been cutting the first run of ornaments and towel weights. For the most part they turned out great!
But its pretty obvious that Alfred's submission of "I asked for a Teardrop... All I got was this ornament" is going to cause some trouble long term with the way I laid it out this time. I am going to keep it, I just have to re-design it a little.(make the text bigger)

I am spraying lacquer today, hopefully I will have pics for you guys tonight or tomorrow. Just keep in mind the layout for Alfred's submission will change slightly.

Talk to you soon,
Tim
