Thanks Peg!

It’s ready to be skinned but the weather is not going to hold. So in spring it will get its woody sides. The roof is still under debate as to Aluminum or wood and fiberglass. With wood / glass it will be eater paint or vinyl. But that is four or more months away to decide.

Coming along very well. Looks great.
My Idea of plans are a tape measure, a saw and a dream.

Thanks!

Well the body is now all framed up. The dovetails are hand cut into the side panels. The rest of the joinery is half lapped. When it gets worm outside again I will start the skinning. The only thing left to do this winter is to design the galley and make the cabin cabinet doors. :snow

Hey Chuck I think you may go over 1100 lb. Mine is 5x4x8 and I used all 1x2s and 1x3s and not near as many cabinets. I ended up at 1050 lb with no food water and cloths. Ken

It might have been cold, but it sure looks nice!! It will be a real shame if you have to wait for warm weather in the sping to 'Git-R-Done'!!

Kerry I think Teybond III will freeze before it sticks at this temperature. In Wisconsin you never know what it will be like from one day to the next. But there is still a lot of planning still to be done that the outside temperature won’t stop. Galley layout, fenders, door, clean the shop like a foot deep in sawdust and plus cabinet doors to be built. Winter will be productive just does not have the visual impact as putting things together. But it still has to be done some time before it can be call done!
