According to the KC weather guy, Saturday will give us morning snow, followed by sleet, followed by freezing rain, followed by rain. Sunday will present us with light snow or maybe it'll be 50.

However, no matter what, I'm committed (maybe should be committed).

Bill

I'm with you Julie. Sorry it is a bad week. We are coming up but won't be able to stay the night. I still have very little energy and my vision is $%^&. Anyway have a 1pm appointment then we will have to see.

Weather: for a different perspective, Joplin is not supposed to get snow or rain. The weather in Nevada will tend to vary between KC and here. It will depend on where the front decides to line up. I think this early in the year it might move around some. We are forecast to get "isolated showers" that means maybe.

See you there, :worship:

Miriam, I'm bringing arctic gear, galoshes, an umbrella, a snow shovel, shorts, and tanning lotion. This time of the year you're better safe than sorry.

I look forward to meeting you and Mike. Hope you're feeling better.

Well it's a no-go for us this weekend. Between the wake scheduled for Friday evening and the threat of crumby weather we have decided to pass on Nevada this weekend. I really hate missing a gathering this close to home not to mention seeing everyone again. Take lots of pictures. Everyone be careful and have fun.

Scott and Sylvia :(
Are we there yet?

I've decided to stay home this weekend. Been fighting a cold and it's probably not a good idea to be out in the dampness. Sorry I'll miss seeing everyone. Have fun.

Gee guys your missing a great time. We're under the easyup with canvass sides and a propane heater and snug as a bug. So far it's Rayvillian's Mulllers and Ulands and of course Del. He made it all the way from Washington and says your all wimps. He was in Neb last night at 15 degrees.
Opps we just had another one come in. You guys are missing out.
Gary

Ps new ones are Bittles from Wichita KS.

Well, I'm not a wimp... just bad timing , and broke! haha

Took the car in this morning, was way due for an alignment!!! so towing would've sucked yesterday...., then last night my heater at my house stopped working !!!!!!!!!! not so bad, it was only about 40* outside and today the wind is blowing 100 miles an hour!!! Well, not 100 but ya know, bad.

They opened up overtime and I was going to go work some to make money for the tires plus place but not going in after all .... There is the newbie on this board, spadman, that might come over for a look see today though !!!

So sorry I couldn't be there, but for those at Ray Roberts next weekend, that's a go !!!!

Catch you next time all you Missouri campers -- OH and I'll certainly be thinking of you tonite as I'm watching the OU Sooners whip the Missouri team !!!!!

;)

Wasn't too cold in Nevada and the TD's were well prepared. Truthfully if the wind hadn't been blowing so bad..........Welcome to Missouri. ;)

And wow Del's TD. There is also a new camper made with FRP---beautiful green. I know I am always impressed. ;)

And a special "atta boy" for Chad's son. What a trooper. He even showed me how to shoot pool.

:D Don't know about the motorcycle gang thing, but the tall guy on the left is damned good looking.   :R

After freezing my buttocks off in Nevada, it is 63 degrees here. I think the windchill in Nevada was about 25 degrees, if the wind hadn't been blowing, it was about 45 degrees. Keep that cold up there.

As newbies we have a pretty-please request...put names with the pics, people & tears. Thanks. We Sr. Citizens need all the help we can get!
