Confession time

Postby Benthosboy » Sun Dec 02, 2007 5:34 pm

 I'm a bit, err, embarrased to admit this but I, don't actually have a TTT  In truth, the project I'm on with at the moment is constructing a big ole expedition-style box trailer to pull behind my campervan ( RV?) for carrying my scuba diving gear and I came across this site while searching for "inspiration".

Having said that, in the time I've been here I'll be honest when I say that this teardrop thing is more than a little infectious and has set me thinking.

Shall I get my coat and never darken your doorstep again  or will a spot of :worship: strengthen my case?

Martyn (kneeling before you awaiting your verdict....)

Martyn,

I'm sorry! But from the sounds of it, you are already bitten and probably infected with the teardrop bug!! You will just have to stay around and see what happens!!! :D

BTW: Welcome to the board!

Welcome Onboard

As Kerry says, Youve got the disease and there is no cure, ohh and once you check in you cant check out till you have a tear built.

Have fun and stay around.. With a tear you can carry the Scuba Gear too, Save the gas and go places where a normal full sized caravan will have troubles to go.

Lets see, you need more benefits.. 8) 8)

Martyn,

I can say without a doubt that IF you don't post some pictures of your build Aunti M's bubble oil will not be level and that might be cause to give you 50 lashes with a wet noddle.

Welcome to the insane asylum and post pictures we love to steal....I mean share ideas

Martyn, I think you may have been bitten by the bug too. It's never too late to change plans. Plus a lot of tear owner/builders have larger trailers and standys too. The thing that gets most folks motor running is the thought of towing something that maybe only adds 1 or 2 mpg to their driving costs? Sure makes camping a lot more reasonable in this $3.25+ gas era. Plus, teardrop folks are just nice people... Check out a nearby gathering sometime. You'll be hooked for good then. 8)
