Wasn't too cold in Nevada and the TD's were well prepared. Truthfully if the wind hadn't been blowing so bad..........Welcome to Missouri. ;)

And wow Del's TD. There is also a new camper made with FRP---beautiful green. I know I am always impressed. ;)

And a special "atta boy" for Chad's son. What a trooper. He even showed me how to shoot pool.

Sorry Judy, I posted and Mr tough guy sent me back to bed. Now if I can only remember everyone's name.........It is a senior thang. ;)

Just got in. Lousy gas mileage. Who order this *(*&$$^& north head wind.
Anyway the gathering was great. Met new friends and renewed old. Weather wasn't bad for Dec in MO. Cold Friday night, warmed up Sat than turned cold again today. Sounds normal.

Got home ok. Very good on the wind. Going west was pretty lousy too. In spite of the wind, cold, rain, wind, and more wind, the gathering was a success in our minds. We met some nice folks and got to look at different tear ideas. It is fun to see what folks can do on their own, without needing to go the commercial route. Looking forwards to doing it again.
Thanks for the hospitality.

Okay
Here's some pictures of the brave and the hearty folks that camped in the wilds of Mo in Dec.

We really did have a great time.
Sorry I didn't get pics of everybody that was there.

Good pics, Gary. What was the final head count for the gathering?

Jeff
There was a total of 14 heads and 7 trailers and a tent in a pickup. Some were there Friday and had to leave Sat. and others came in Sat. Oh yeah than there was Miriam and Mike came in Sat for about an hour that would make 16 heads.

We made it home fine, just a little wet. We got to enjoy the same rain storm 3 times.
Great meeting everyone. Like always more food than you could ever eat. All was good.
Lets start thinking about the next gathering someware in Mo.

We made it home just fine. I am sorry we had to bail on Saturday, I do not think my little guy had another day in him.

We had a great time, it was really nice to meet all of you that came. Next time we get together I should actually have a teardrop.

I cannot begin to explain how nice it was to actually see a few of the campers before getting too involved in my build. I got some great ideas and a much needed boost of confidence.

Oh I took a few pictures too: http://picasaweb.google.com/cpfiles/Tea ... ngNevadaMO

:applause: Glad to hear you all made it home. Thanks for the pictures too.

Hey Chad now you have to tell them how much warmer it was down here. One hour sure made a world of difference. We actually got to 68 degrees and stayed there most of the afternoon. A bit off for us.

Rich, if it gets to 50 at night we are good to go, baring any more health issues. Crappy season might be a good time :D Know any good lakes?

Yes the weather was weird. We stopped in Joplin to grab some food and it was a little warmer. By the time we got back to central AR it was about 5 degrees warmer.

Yesterday I was in shorts all day, it was 71 degrees outside. Then the bottom fell out of and the temp dropped. Very strange weekend weather wise.
