Hi Jerry, Welcome to the mayhem we call a hobby. The most important thing you have to learn here is how to keep Miriam happy with the pics Have fun with whatever you decide to build.
Cheers

Time is the only real capital we have. Money you can replace but time you cannot.
Welcome to the forum. Wow, a blacksmith, I don't know too many blacksmith's. I have known some guys that were probably close, but they never claimed the title. Have fun with your build and be sure and post pictures as you go.

You could get hooked up with some blacksmiths in your area. ABANA has a chapter near you American Blacksmiths Asociation of North America. Just punch in ABANA on the net and find a chapter in your area. Thanks for the welcome. Old Boot
Welcome Frazzyfuzz from The UK, the Blacksmiths that I have known when I used to work in the coal mines were very artistic, so looking forward to the piccys of your build.

I ran a steel fab shop all my life here in Texas I was a black smith at times (when doing a really dirty job and my name is smith) Seriously I had a couple blacksmiths worked for me that were awsome I still have some tongs and other tools they beat out on a trip hammer
they were artist with a piece of iron oh and I still have the anvil out of the old shop a big one 506 lbs its the biggest one I have ever seen.

To River Rat & Triker Man There are some blacksmiths that come from UK that are awsome that demonstrate at our hammerins. That big anvil that you have in tex is worth 3.50 a pound or more hang on to it what kind is it if its a peter wright its worth more made in th UK 1900. Old boot
The other way to do it is to put them in a photo hosting site on the internet like photobucket. Photobucket is nice as it will automatically size your pictures for posting.
