Hey, ya know, Santa doesn't even bother to give me a lump of coal anymore. Must have something to do with the prices these days!!!

I haven't seen coal for over 40 years. You guys really have that stuff down there? Any way you can send me a lump or two? (my wife hasn't been a very good girl this year...)

Sure, got a strip about 20 minutes up the road from me. Dump truck sure gets nasty after picking up a load in the fall/winter too!!
I've got some in a tub in front of the garage, what's your address?

He's burning the coal for heat that way he doesn't have to pay the gas prices

I don't think that Reindeer run on that kinda gas!!!

That's it he burns dried Reindeer poop for heat.

I grew up in the country with a coal stove. Nasty stuff
I much prefer my wood fire

It's another fine damp, but warm (50F), day here. Snow tomorrow, and lots of snow on Sunday, they say. That's OK since my snowblower works just fine.

Enjoy it....that was yesterdays weather...it's 35 out there right now.
I never put tooo much stock in the weather man, he hasn't been right much lately.
I do have to get the snow plow on the quad this week tho.

You should count yourself lucky. I use to drive a coal truck in eastern Oklahoma, it's nasty stuff.

But hey, the gas prices are going down here!! They must not be scrooges after all.

I like the snow, I say let it snow...better that than this damn rain when it's this cold out!!!

I have an easier time finding that 'Xmas Spirit' when there is. No snow and it just doesn't seem like Xmas, I prefer snow to rain on Xmas for sure.
I don't think I'd enjoy Xmas much living down south where it never snows.

Having spent 22years in the USAF, I got to spend my share of Christmas in some pretty warm places. It's OK once in a while, but I really do like it to be cold (or at least a bit cold) and snow on the ground to really enjoy the holiday!!

We were going to go back to Colorado for Christmas this year so my daughter could see a white Christmas, but my Mom in law(Mom) has had some bad health, so now were going to Florida. It'll be margaritas by the sea this year!

Its nice here at the moment, its freezing just below zero and stars are out. Outside working on the Voyager again.. Under the Arctic Stars..

Searching for the Northern Lights this evening. Such a beautiful show they provide.

I love weather like this, I pulled the tear out and did some interior work with the lil ceramic heater on.. Simply Lovely ...Warm cup of fresh coffee under the Arctic Stars..

Actually, thinking about when I built my tear, that might be nice for a short time!!

It was in the upper 80's and lower 90's with very high humidity most days!!
