I -84 to twin Falls, from there south to Wells. Hope to be in Twin Falls late afternoon, more likely early evening (depends on cabbage hill).

Tuesday I will be working in Twin Falls until 8 pm. You will drive right past me as I work in dell. It is just a bit further after you cross the canyon

Wave as you go by Dell. You will probably be making tracks to stop and with my job I can't drop what I am doing and come out to meet you. As much as I would like to.

Have you got your trip plotted out on Google or any other mapping site? Just wondering how close to us (Weaver, AL) you are gonna be as I would love to see your build in person.

Later,

Dave map quest gets me as close as Birmingham. Last time I made the trip passing through Birmingham I headed east to Atlanta, then south to Tampa. The other way appears to not be freeway and more south-east. Then the problem arises no internet on the road for me, and I have no idea what day or time I will be at any given point.

If you use the same Birmingham to Atlanta route you be on I-20 which passes about 15 miles south of our place. You can get to us from the Eastaboga, Coldwater, or Anniston/Oxford exits. We've got 50+ acres of woodlands with free camping, wireless internet access and even have power available if you want a place to stay for a night while passing through. ;) Unknown date and time of arrival is not a problem.

Message me for address and cell # if interested or just for more info.

8) Del, if the other route has you on 231 from Montgomery thru Dothan and on, That's actually a pretty good road mostly 4 lane divided and keeps you out of Atlanta.
if you're not bleeding you're not really working

Well yesterday I took the trailer out for a spin. It towed nice, both in town and down the freeway. two problems; spare tire came free (tightened strap), and my removable counter pieces came loose of their velcro (duct tape). The only other problem I had is I forgot to take pics while it was outside the fence. Will be leaving soon, and be without internet for a little over a week, so be good.

Well the jelly belly is safe here in florida. pics are in my camera (film) of the trip. Not to many pics from early in the trip (too ******* cold). When I finish the last roll I will take them in to develope.

Trip summery first day cchains required on cabage hill (took an extra 5 oor six hours). The truckers were amused by my chains on the eight inch tyres, and most called it a yellow submarrine. This is the last snow I seen on the road. Although Idaho had deicer sprayed on the road that may have ruined the paint. Nebraska was the coldest, 15f (windchil 0f), the wind kept blowing the vent fully open (solution turn off propane heat and close vent). Somewhere in Missoiri the cruse control quit. Side note, does the entire state of Missoiri close on sunday? At Dave's place in Alabama I seen the perfect axle for Dean and his dutch ovens (yes I took pics). Early in the trip I think I broke a ring and used a lot of oil (compresion in crankcase). A message for all the people I met on the way, thank you, I ennjoyed myself, and did not expect the hosspiltality(sp?) I recieved.

thanks del

8) Del, it was a pleasure to meet you and see that yellow thingy. It really is something special. Sorry about the ring. It is the mark of a great car to keep on driving when that happens.

I look forward to the Trips and Highway tales. 8) That is a strong hint there. Enjoy the weather and perhaps you can finish the baby. Some insulation might come in handy.
