I brought this up before in another thread but no one responded:

I thought the "X" was in reverance to Jesus, whereas you don't spell out the full name--like in Judaism, where we use a hyphen to spell "G-d."

Isn't that right? Or do people claim that "Xmas" was ORIGINIALLY used for the first time solely because of political correctness?

I'm just asking--don't know--but this Jew here needs some enlightenment on this.

You goys confuse the crap out of me, and now that Romney is in the race, I have NO idea what you're all arguing about.
Here we go again!

I find it humorous..... Of all the innuendo on this board... a string of Comic Santa's Mooning is offensive... well then to each his own I guess.
Personally I’m offended when Swear words are misspelled to make it "OK to post". Misspelled or not. I just shake my head and move on...If your really offended, an Email to the admin or a PM to the Poster might be a better avenue then wishing to kill a thread...... Oh and .....Merry Xmas!!
