Good morning y'all.... well, here in the OKC area they said we'd have 2-4 inches of snow by now but I think it past us ... so far! It is just now snowing and not really thick . .. yet.

As of 10:30 last night, when me and son stopped by the other house, just raining and still no power in most of my neighborhood... same as most others. Today is hair appt, trip to laundromat , some things at the other house while some daylight (not sunlight) comes thru the windows.

Thank God , truly, for friends that are helping us out. I wish my power would come on just so I could let my other friends parents and brother, etc stay there ! ack!!!

OH OH OH it's snowing, no, wait, it's over. Man, I miss the mountains and real snow fall. The big differance is the DOT and utilities in the "snow states" are really prepared. Here in Duncan, 2 inches of snow will shut the town down. :? Last week Beaver Creek,CO got 7 FEET of snow in 8 days. Great for sking, and beats the hell out of ice. :D

Well it is snowing here. Wet stuff that is sticking to the trees. :? We just got back from my sisters in Seneca MO South of here to get more seasoned fire wood. Free is good when the going price is $120 a cord.....NOT.

Julie-------If I had the money right now I would suggest an escape to anywhere south.

If Oklahomey gets 17 inches of snow, I'll be coming up to play in it.

So how's everybody doing so far????

I really hope and pray that those without power get power restored soon. :worship:
Here in Tulsa, this storm has turned deadly. Especially with the elderly despirately trying to stay warm any way possible. :(

At least round 2 kinda fizzled out around here.

Everybody stay safe, keep warm and take care!!!

Glad to hear it fizzled out there Jody. We only got about an inch of snow. :worship: It will warm Sunday and it will all go away. Found the chain saw in all the mess so might see if it starts any easier than the last one.

I hope everyone else is doing OK. :applause:

Sorry to hear about your TD Jody. I posted in another area and then found this one. We were without electricity for 7 days but stayed in the motorhome and was able to keep warm at night. It was winterized so no water but it was warm. Gene had put the TD's in garages just a few days before the storm, I can't believe how lucky. The building with Jon's TD was pretty much destroyed by falling trees but the framework on the building saved his TD. Despite the loss of all the trees and one building, we were lucky, not like some others. Gene is out trying to get the trees off our roof. I happen to be in the bedroom when one came down and the roof shook and the ceiling fan rocked and I thought for sure it was coming down.

Good luck everyone who was without electricity. Sure hope all is well by now. I sure missed being able to get online.

It rolled through here during the night. It was not too bad. Everything is covered in a glaze of ice, but it is not that thick -- which means not that heavy.

Most of the bad stuff in Texas happened North and West of where I am.

It is sunny and 27-degrees right now. The forecast high is around 40. Most of the ice here should melt today.

Barbara (TodahTear) hit some ice and totaled her car, but she is okay. She lives about 40 miles from me, where it was a bit worse than here.
