Finn, Just got an email from the seller. The fenders are orig. and yes they have 12" wheels on it although she has the larger wheels that should be on it. She used to tow it with a '66 VW convertible. The $2500 is firm and if it doesn't sale then they are going to make it a woody and ask more money. Oh, and it's in Ft Worth, TX.

P.S. I asked if they had more pictures. But she didn't reply to that question.

They sure don't look like either of the two original style Kit fenders to me.

There were a couple of styles. Here's a pic of the other style. Wish I had a better pic.

Dalls one gone?

She pulled the ad. Either it is gone, or she pulled it down over Christmas.

Well I hope she sold it. It was a real good price.

And Finn, that's the same Kit. Your picture looks like it was taken in front of George's house in Glendale, CA. The one I posted was taken up at the 10th Dam Gathering. George let Jane us it because she didn't have hers finished yet. Jane was building one of George's Kenskill kits.

I think I found out why the fenders of didn't look right. I might not have been a real kit, but a reproductions by Hunter http://www.mrglobal.com/teardrop.html

I didn't save any of her pics, but when I saw their tears, I thought of hers.
