What Magazines Do You Get?

Postby fornesto » Tue Dec 18, 2007 7:27 pm

Specifically, woodworking, handyman, build stuff, tinkerer magazines. I'm looking to get a couple more for next year.

Currently, I get Family Handyman (My absolute favorite) and Mother Earth News (Another Good One).

Any other recommendations?

WoodSmith, Wood, MaximumPC, that's about it. I used to get several other woodworking mags, but I felt that I was not getting my money's worth out of them.

The Family Handy Man, I've got a life time subscription,
or I have it so long it feels that way.

Since I became interested in Teardrops, I only receive Boundary Waters Journal. I gave my first trip to The Boundary Waters Canoe Area planned as soon as the trailer is done.

Fine Woodworking and Wooden Boat would be my two...but I enjoy a number of hunting/fishing mags, Popular Science/Mechanics and Hemmings Classic Car off the rack depending on mood.

 Wow I thought I've been getting it a log time

It's the type of magazine once you get you just can't stop. I tend to renew every Christmas and give the free gift subcription to someone new

Scott-

Same here. I've been getting before it was owned by Readers Digest. And years ago they always had a project that was directly related to some project I was either doing or planned on doing. Became a joke in the house every time we got a new issue - to see what i was going to be on my "HONEY DUE LIST". Nice mag - and now I think I get it automatically - seems if I don't renew they call me up to remind me.

Have fun.
