Looks like North Alabama is well representated. We are planning to build a 10' Comet over the winter. I am sourcing parts, supplies, information, suggestions and any other help we can get.

We have two AU guys and one NCSU engineer on the project - should be a hoot!

So keep those cards and letters coming.

Along the way I hope to get in some miles on the bike.

Welcome aboard! I've built the Comet profile a couple of times. I would highly recommend going wider with it. You can also smooth out the top and not leave the flat portion for the ceiling fan. If using a Fantastic Fan, it will fit the curve fine. Just what I've found. Doug

Seriously Image to the playground. Sounds like you are well on your way to a great TD and some fun pictures.

Now your Engineer will tell you that keeping the bubble oil level is important and Aunti M will tell you that the very best way to do that is with lots of :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:

How wide did you go with the Comet? We have a 5x10 frame.
