Been reading this site for a few days. Impressed and inspired by all the nice folks and great builds. Plan to build a very simple design, very much like Mitchell's simple red TD. Very interested in seeing other designs like his and pictures of the build.

Thanks everyone. My name is Mike. I just put my initials at first 'cause I'm lazy that way. i also plan to put a picture up as soon as I figure out how (kinda computer ignorant). I've been drawing profiles on paper and have about 15 to pick from, everything from a benroy style to cubby to a modified weekender. Probably going cubby. As soon as I get sidewalls cut I'll post pic

Hi Mike, welcome to the world of teardrop builders and users. Good for you, drawing profiles and such. Be sure to save them all and place them in a safe place, you will enjoy looking at them at a much later date. I know, I just ran through my "TD sketch folder" and was amazed at some of the crazy and original designs that entered my mind some years ago. Also, be sure to take lots of pics, (we just love pics) as you will not have a chance to do it again once it is finished.

Try to attend a gathering in your area, or at least visit some local TD owners, you will find they are the friendliest folks and will be happy to share their experiences with you. Good luck on your build.

Roly, one built, one under way, one on the sketch pad.........whew. :?
