Hi Barry,

Welcome to the forum.

If you want it done by April 08, sounds like you better get to building.

Be sure and post pictures as you go, so we can keep up with your progress.

Welcome ! It is beginning to finally look like you will have the weather to keep a focus on the building. Good Luck on that April date.

Hi Barry!

Another Utahn checking in to welcome you to the forum! Concentrate on getting your trailer "campable" and that'll help in meeting the April trip date. Yell if you need ideas on where to find various building supplies in the valley because there are a number of us around here who have already played the teardrop-parts-scavenger-hunt game.

Barry,
Welcome, remove your timelimit and go as far as you can go by your April date. You may turn a wonderful experience into a chore, like my last project became. A personal teardrop constantly evolves and changes shape, be flexible and enjoy  ;)

Hi Barry,

I drive a 76 MGB and pull a motorcycle pop-up. I've got friends who have the campin bug and would love to see photos of your teardrop. I've been trying to tell them an MG could handle one.

Up-Date on mini TD

Postby beachbumbarry » Sat Jan 05, 2008 5:24 pm

Thank you for all your support, I have the axel droped 4", the trailer frame shortened to 6'-4", the TD body almost assembled with the windows and door cut out. I should have it done by the ides of March. The TD will only be 51" high from the ground.
I would like to show pix if I can figure out how.
