after everyone woke up around here......

Charles got digital camera, carhart coveralls, oil skin vest, to name a few.

I got a new cordless drill with 2 batteries, a cash register to take to my craft shows ( I pluged the wrong ac adapter into my old one and burned it up), business magnets for truck doors and a beautiful bag for traveling (daughter hinted that she wanted to borrow)

All in all we have had a wonderful Christmas.....

Oldest daughter moved back home and never plans to leave?????

Youngest daughter finally smarted up and got rid of (for good this time) a phyco...boyfriend. We have had several extreemly stressful years.....

Just having the girls home and knowing they are safe is all Charles and I wanted...

It took a while but your prayers were answered....

Hmmm...
I gave stainless steel thermoses to my brothers-in-law, along with Dunkin' Donuts coffee cards, a gift that will keep on giving for awhile.
Sister and sisters-in-law and my middle brother all got a photo frame 'ornament' that holds 70 digital photos (one ornament to each family), and I'm working on the CD where I've digitized all the old family pictures...mom, dad, all the kids as babies and as they've grown up, the first nephew's wedding, the grandparents. When the CD is done (hopefully by next weekend, on the 12th day of Christmas), one will go to each 'family' as a digital album.

All the nephews got movie tickets this year, so that I can shamlessly promote 'Charlie Wilson's War' -- the greyhounds who follow Julia Robert's character through the movie belong to a dog trainer friend of mine who shows in our caravan of local exhibitors.

And me?
I got an amazing ceramic travel mug, my aunt's ruby and diamond ring, a Tom-Tom XL GPS (a little gift from me to me) and my mother gave me three quilts made by my great-grandmother which need some restoration. So gifts, AND a couple of projects...all in all, a very good holiday. ;)

We don't exchange gifts anymore since we buy what we want when we want. My gift so to speak from my wife though is the great health insurance that she & her employer provide. It paid for all four shoulder surgeries and the last one did the trick. I expect to be working again in January Image Danny

Hey Steve,
I know we aren't talking about the same person as I'm in Texas and you are in Florida...
sorry he moved back...I'll say a prayer that he and girlfriend reunite for your sake.

Good Luck

Mrs. Bigwoods got me a trailer jack stand. I am very pleased with it. I think she saw me looking at it on the last trip to the Big Box store.

Also, my son in law arrived safely in Iraq. Only had 7 days notice. He is not flying this go round, but has ground duties. I was surprised as was he. He e-mailed that he got there safely.

Danny so glad that you are on the mend. having a bad shoulder (arm) would just be awful. thank goodness for insurance. people just cant afford medical care without it.

The wife gave me two different weights of long underwear ( gets cold at the old workplace sometimes ) and a gift card at the local bicycle shop. It's amazing how she can figure out what to get me for Christmas and I have no clue what to get her. Thank goodness for two grown daughters, they know what to get their mother.

:D
