I'll probably be able to do cedar hill again. Going to be soft siding it, again. Tuition takes priority over teardrops :(

Linda I guess we will have PJ II July 20,21,22 in 2008. I will get the information copied from last year and a new Thread started.

My 2 cents worth.
It was sooooo hot at Petit Jean in July this year what if it were in June this year as nothing is scheduled in June yet?
Just wondering.

June would be fine with us ... except the weekend of 14th. Found out last night Gary's youngest is getting married on the 14th.

......Petit Jean State Park; I will try to get things starrted in arangements on a date with the park early this upcomming year in the same time frame as last year ( just after the Car show at Winthrop Farms Auto Museam ).

The Car Swap meet is scheduleds for M.O.T.A.A. June 10th - 14th in 2008 and September 24th - 27th of 2008. At Winthrope Farms Antique Car Museum down the road from the park about a mile.

There will be competition for camping in the during that time. That is what I gathered for the park people last year.

Other than that I'm open to suggestions about dates that will not inter-fear with other events. Please let me know know so I can have one of the Admin.'s change the header on the thread to the correct date.

Pat

P.S.:
At the end of the month I will probly have several antennas hanging off or stuck to the trailer.
HAP and some of the others know what this is about.
Warpony might like the "Blue Corona Ball" effect around my trailer. 8)
No we are not being invaded by aliens space craft or secrete message from space. :?
The last weekend in June thing.
I like my extended family and camping out with my friends.  8)

I was just checking to see if the opinion was to have PJ II in June instead of last of July like last year.

Speak up!

I might do a poll on the dates so planning can be done by the middle on January.

Not in Febuary though. It would be cold. If the wind is coming off the gulf it will be the same temp as the sea water.
Mabye May or June??
I would prefer Sea Rim but it is still closed. I was there over the weekend and camped at McFadden Beach
This park is nice. http://www.matagordabayrv.com/

It is right on the gulf where the Colorado river dumps. Good fishing for inshore kayak, offshore kayak, bay fishing kayak, beach fishing, pier fishing, river fishing.
It has 70 sites and just opened last year.

hey steve the beech sounds great, last year we camped right on the beach . call it the sand and generator camp out.june

Totally new to this.
If we want to go to Inks Lake-do we make reservations via ReserveAmerica or with you guys? What does it mean in the calendar to let the first person know (under the Inks Lake gathering)? Who is the first person? Also-can I camp in a tent site with water and elec? Or do I have to be a trailer?

Thanks for the help.

July: Trip to Mexico to visit Kai & Lois?
Host: Cindy & Dave, Kai & Lois (Mexican Tear)
When: July 4th week.
How: Get your passport and talk to your insurance about Mexico.
What: Gather at the border and stay in a motel overnight. Then follow Kai and Lois from the border to their home 500 miles into Mexico on the coast. We will stay several days and see the sights deep in Mexico. We will camp outside Kai & Lois’s house.
_________________
Believe it or not, this is the first time I looked at this thread. Do not ask why. who knows.

At all of the gatherings this year, I will be working on y'all for the trip to Mexico next year. Do not worry about the insurance, we buy it at the border for the days you will be in Mexico. Passports will probably be needed, however they keep putting it off. We will not need to "motel" it as there are tons of RV places in Brownsville and the snowbirds will be home that time of year.

We will be campaigning hard this year for a trip for South Central to Mexico next year.

See y'sl in Ark.

I have already told the Doctor's office that I am taking off next summer to go to Mexico! So count Gary and I in for a trip to visit Kia and Lois summer of 2009. 8) Trudy
