Don't worry Mark and Cindi. That is how most of us started camping with the group. To be exact that was my first place to camp with the group and it was in a tent. Come on down and join the group and camp. You will enjoy the company of fine people.

See you there and I hope to bring the trailer this time instead of the tent like I did at PJ.

Cindi & Mark..... it'll be great to see you again !!!
I tent camped for about a year with these fine people while building my Jewel Box. *Be sure to see the official thread and Linda's address etc * Oklahoma parks don't take reservations but she does all the work for us!

The Beavers Bend campground is nice, although the bath house isn't as modern. The Mountain Fork river is right there and has nice little bridge and trails going to it. We've been able to use the pavilion, so if it does rain you could put your tent in there maybe ! haha

I'm going to be sure to bring my bike with me... it's a little spread out or maybe it's just that we all spread out ! haha

Linda,
That's a little far in advance for us, but we'll try to come.(we're very spur of the moment) Plans to pick up a frame while here in Florida fell through so we'll have to tent it, unless we win the lotto between now and then.

Hi Johnny, If you are tent camping then last minute will be ok. We can have a tent per site. The area is nice and you won't really feel like you are sharing a site with someone.

I'll put you down as a "possible tent camper" .

Just let us know when you know for sure.

It will be nice to see you again Julie, along with everyone else we met at Lake Ray Roberts. It was our first gathering and definitely won't be our last.

Now, if I can only get a hitch on my car the rest should be downhill...right?? LOL.
