Mad Man, happy new year. I expected to spend the day with some soccer early and the pointy ball all day long. I have my Whirly Pop all ready to go until the phone call came. Now i can forget the pop corn; a friend's wife cannot make the Rose Bowl so I am forced to accept the ticket and attend the USC/Illinois game. I will go but I will not wear Illini orange. I will support them, I am a UCLA fan, not SC. I am hoping to get home in time to see them Hogs do their stuff later on. I am not complaining, there are worse options and my year starts with an unexpected event.
