Yep, I have that set, paid full price for it a couple of years ago. The plunge base seems right next to worthless to me. But with the D handle on it , it is usually the first router I reach for. I keep the DeWalt set up with the 1/2 inch collet and the Porter Cable with the 1/4 inch most of the time. I think that is a decent price, even if you only use the D handle base. It has plenty of power for anything I have asked it to do.

I was not impressed with the plunge base but have to consider that I have no experience with plunge routers other than this one. Could be that I just don't know what I am doing. :) :)

The case that set comes in is HUGE. I wish they would go back to using close fitting steel cases. Between the case for that 3 base router and the one for the DeWalt belt sander, I almost need another storage building just for empty cases, no room for them in the shop.

Yeah, I read a review on it and a couple people had problems with it mounted on a table upside down. Threw bearings or something.

I got it anyway. Price was right.
