im new and from New Zealand

ive finally made the decision to build one myself
im a Fitter/welder by trade so this should be fun
this site looks like what im looking for in regards to info
hope to meet other kiwis on here ( if there are any ??)

Been there, done that. It can be interesting until you have to start dealing with engineers!!!

If you can weld, or have a knack for putting things together you can build a teardrop.

Now, about the requirements. We gotta have lots of cause they keep the bubble oil level. Very important for building.

I'm not from New Zealand but it's the only country I'd leave the U.S. for. Spent a fabulous month vacationing there several years ago.

Good luck with your build. Will look forward to photos of it out in the spectacular NZ countryside.

Hi from a fellow Kiwi tear drop builder.

Which part of the country are you in? there are another couple of kiwis here as well.

We are just back from a weeks camping at Whananaki in our sort of Benroy, Much better that a tent.

There are a lot of really helpfull people on the forum, which makes building easier. If you have any queries about local supliers let me know.
