Petit Jean State Park Camp-in Dates to Request?

I messed up on the original Dates that I posted NOW is the time to speak up so we can have a corrected calendar and change the heading on the Thread to the correct dates. The date I was thinking was a June date but put July down.

I was just checking to see if the opinion was to have PJ II in June instead of last of July like last year.


Speak up!


I might do a poll on the dates so planning can be done by the middle on January.

My 2 cents worth.
It was sooooo hot at Petit Jean in July this year what if it were in June this year as nothing is scheduled in June yet?
Just wondering.

June would be fine with us ... except the weekend of 14th. Found out last night Gary's youngest is getting married on the 14th.

I can't really decide yet.... kinda waiting to see what else is going on. June seems good, I'm also thinking of a possible campout at an Oklahoma state park and don't know if it would be May or July or August.... I know ... it's hot no matter what ... but TEARDROPPERS ARE COOL !!!!!

I am with Julie ... have to check into some other things. June is always a busy month for us (3 birthdays and Father's Day) ... and now Gary's son is getting married the 14th. We are open for just about any time in July ... but I know the park was really busy last July so we probably need to make a decision pretty soon. Trudy

Looks like June is ahead now; but I will wait e til next weekend to firm up and commit to a date.

I am sure I will get out numbered but oh well; I vote the first July dates. I plan on doing the Ozark Valley Triathlon on June 22 so I may not make the campout.

I am not sure if I am doing it yet, but that is my vote. I have too many hobbies by-the-way.

I understand about the Triathlon. If you have any time just come by and visit or if you have time train running/ biking the hill up the back side from Hwy 10 on Ark 153?

UPDATE: I requested vacation Time of June 20th thru June 22nd off work as it looks now the majority wishes it to be.
