The 1/4 Nelson Stacker is 42" wide, 72" long and tips the scales at 245 lbs, empty. Stores nicely on end against the wall within the garage.

I don't feel so bad then.

My T@B clamshell comes in at 1940 fully loaded for a trip (including food, but no water, and drinks/beer are kept in a cooler in the truck) and the approximate dimensions are 6' wide x 11' long x 6' high.

(FYI, mine was 1710 dry weight from the factory, and 1751 as brought home from the dealer with battery and a full tank of propane)

In defense of my fat A$$ it has a generator, AC, microwave, stereo, 2 camp stoves, a 12’x12’ screen room, a 10’ fold out countertop, ect. All of that was in it when it was weighed.

Just weighed our trailer at the Flying J and it came in at 700 lbs. We built a 5 x 9 x 4. The tongue weighs in at 70 lbs.

The Touring Lodge, 5 ft x 11 ft scaled in at 1340#. That ready to camp,less food, water and clothing. 175 # tongue weight.

Does anybody know the weight difference of luan when compared to regular plywood, if both are the same thickness, length and width? Does anyone have advice as to when and where it is an advantage to use luan over regular plywood?

1500# dry weight. 260# tongue weight ( Petcool unit & battery in front compartment). Pulls great behind my Ford Sports Trac.

My fully insulated 5' x 10" TD weighs in at around 1700 - 1800# fully loaded :shock:

I may not go up steep grades as fast as some but I can keep up with the speed limit anywhere in (55 MPH) California.
