You Americano's are the most lucky people on the whole world.
Just read in the newspaper, Bush is willing to give each adult citizen this summer 800$ and a couple 1600$. You have to spend it. The total costs will be only 1% of the total income-economy of the US of A.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOh you lucky B...... !

You DO know where that money is coming from, don't you??

It comes straight out of our tax money! So, we just get back some of the money we already put in and then later we will have to pay higher taxes!!!

Henk

Nothing comes for free in the USA either, one way or another they pay for it just as we do here on this side of the Atlantic.

The American people are so stupid. Where do we think this money is coming from? They take it out of your check and mine, or they run the printing presses and devalue our currency even more, to prop up companies, that because of poor business practices and golden parachutes for their CEO's, should be allowed to go under. Oh well, rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. :fb

About two years ago the state gave us a $75.00 rebate, they said to cover the rising cost of gasoline. Then came tax time and they wanted us to claim the rebate and we had to pay tax on the rebate that the state gave us!!! You just can't win.

The last tax "rebate" we got was really an "advance" on the following year's refund, if you were entitled to a refund. I don't know how many noticed it, but we had to "pay it back" on our subsequent tax return.

This is one issue where both parties are full of it. Being an election year, though, they're going to get into a battle of who can bribe voters more. And, since only forty-percent of us vote, sixty-percent of the bribery money is wasted, eh?

Take the money and give it to Ron Paul.

Bestselling author, syndicated columnist, and renowned conservative commentator Cal Thomas praised Ron Paul yesterday on his website. Here's some of what he had to say:

"Where are we after the Michigan primary and just before South Carolina this weekend?

"Mike Huckabee... sounds like a big government Republican. The only one behaving like a real Republican is Ron Paul, who actually wants to cut spending and get government out of our lives. He won't win the nomination because too many Republican are into handouts and redistribution, just like Democrats.

"It's a sad political season if you are a conservative... Maybe a miracle will happen and Republicans will start behaving like Republicans again."

I understand that, but anyhow you get something, we (The Dutch) not.
5 years ago, the prime- minister said: the coming 4 years will be the taste of lemon and after this period there is the taste of sweetnes." Now we are in that 2nd 4 year period and it is still like a lemon. So, what you payed to much, you recieve now, and I hope you can do some nice things with it.

But you don't understand, we will have to pay it back, if it is like the last "rebate." It was an "advance," not a "rebate."

Not a political statement, just interesting and illustrating about all of our chosen ones :? Recent email being circulated, I'm not picking on them, but our system as a whole, we all work and scrape to pay our taxes so the chosen can live like royalty, shame on us!!!!!!!!
Subject: Clinton's Retirement

....And it's said, 'there's no money in politics'....yeah, right!

BE SURE TO READ IT ALL!!!

If Hillary wins in 2008 and Bill is 'appointed' to fill her Senate

seat and either live to retire 'they' (together or alone) would get

two US Presidential retirement checks, two US Senate retirement

checks, and a retirement check from the State of Arkansas .

About the only thing they MIGHT NOT get is a Social Security

check....but I wouldn't bet on it....

I understand ole Bill has earned $40,000,000 in the past six years

What a guy!

AND THE REST OF THE STORY... Hilarious Rotten Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the 'Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan,' which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receive ves her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?)

If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that?

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York .

Makes sense!

They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.

Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence 'had' to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

As she runs for President, will YOU vote for her?

How many people can YOU send this to?
