Mee too   Got an appointment in an hour. I got the flu and with it my asthma started getting worse, so now Im having a real tough time breathing normally and if I sleep on my back it feels as though Im going to choke..

Im using the asthma medication Inhaler form.. which helps but its real tough regardless.

Im still here though.. did the floors yesterday while the wife was away.. :? :?

But to all of you hang in there and hope everyone gets their health back to where we all want it to be.

It sounds like we need to put this ship to the shore, and find a good doctor to come on board before our next voyage. Thanks for letting me vent a while ago, I feel better now.

Me too!!!

Back from a real doctor, and I am getting a home traction machine in a couple of weeks. No shots for now, see how the traction goes!! Glad to skip the shots if I can and not take any meds if possible.

Kerry,

Let me know how the traction machine works out. As long as it doesn't require me to put a rope around my neck.

hmm can I jump on the sick call band wagon... I don't have the flue.. but something in not right.

I have had something for a mostly joint issue[it most often hits the joints.. but not always] going on for about 8 months.

Often but not always if I use something.. it will later become very inflamed. Right now my left wrist is swollen, and hot to the touch. It is also rather painful.. right now I my left ankle is "involved' as well as the area around the ball of my foot. left side.

Usually when someone is doing something they know when they are doing too much. I have no indication of that at all. It is not consistant.

I will occationally get a break.. but most often I have some part that is in some stage of this.
Some times things swell but have minimal pain. Sometimes I will have no visual signs but very bad pain... sometimes I have swelling and a great deal of pain.

The hard thing is "we" don't know what is going on. I also do not like Doctors. I am not normal.. yeah yeah I know you all know that.. :D but seriously.. I often don't fit, the normal medical model. All to often I have heard the words that is impossible to something I have... and all to often we get no answers to what may be going on with me.

I have had Doctors argue with one another.. and argue with me. others have been real good... they just don't have any answers.

I have been tested for lyme disease.. but my understanding is that you can test negative and still have it... or even show positive when you don't.

I know lupus is something else they want to check...

my biggest problem is I hate drugs.. my body does not react normally to them. grr grrr grrr it gets frustrating at times.. and depressing.. :x

ok my vent is over..

thank you

Glenn...any chance it might be gout? You should have it checked out and find out what's up. Sounds to me like this is something you might be able to do something about even if you hate doctors....wishing you the best...

There are lots of things they can test for and not get a positive at the time.

Keep checking and good luck. Oh and sometimes allergies can do that.

Or you are stressing the joint in your sleep.

I was going to ask the same thing. My ex-neighbor had gout and it seems like the same symptoms.

Some days it seems like that might be better!!
